Wo wir leben?
Wir leben mal hier, mal da, physisch statisch, mindestens virtuell mobil,
in vielerleit Bezügen und Netzwerken, ständig in Bewegung
und in unterschiedlichen Konstellationen.
Wo entsteht Kunst?
In den Zwischenräumen der Begegnungen mit Mensch und Welt. Auch
Kunst ist somit mobil, wandert, verwebt sich, vernetzt sich, entsteht
im Austausch miteinander, im Kontakt, inspiriert von Flüchtigkeit.
Wie überbrücken wir die Abstände, verbinden uns?
Durch gemeinsames Tee trinken, im wörtlichsten und gleichzeitig
im sinnbildlichsten Sinne. Der Teebeutel dient deshalb in dieser Arbeit
als Symbol: Die Kulturtätigkeit des gemeinsamen-Tee-trinkens als
Bild für sich Zeit nehmen, zuhören, sich mitteilen, Zeremonien
kennenlernen, vergleichen, kombinieren, sich im Fortentwickeln begegnen
steht für einen Weg, Abstände zu überbrücken.
Viele Tassen Tee hat jeder schon getrunken, viele aber auch noch nicht.
Die ursprünglichen Vorstellungen über das Neue, Andere (symbolisiert
durch die Zeichnungen auf den noch ungefüllten Teebeuteln) verblassen,
wenn der Teebeutel im heißen Wasser (gefüllte Teebeutel aufgebrüht
vor Ort) den Teilnehmern seine eigene Farbe zeigt und der Tee sein Aroma
entfaltet und sich aus dem Kontakt mit Mensch und Welt neue Perspektiven,
Erkenntnisse, Verbindungen, und/oder Möglichkeiten entfalten.

Mobilé, frei schwebend:
leere Teebeutel, Kohle, Rötel und:
benutzte, getrocknete, entleerte Tee-Teebeutel,
Kunstharz, Holzstäbchen, Angelsehne
Gesamtmaß: ca 40 x 60 x 40 cm

Where we do live?
We live here and there,
physically, statically, mobile at least virtually, in many kinds of relations
and networks, constantly moving and acting in different constellations.
Where art is generated?
In the spaces inbetween encounters with humans
and world. Art is by that mobile, wanders, interweaves, networks, orignates
from interaction, contact, inspired by transience.
H ow do we bridge gaps, how do we connect?
By drinking tea together, literally and symbolically.
There- fore the teabag serves as a symbol in my piece of work: The cultural
activity of drinking tea together stands for taking time for each other,
for to listen, to tell about oneself, to learn about each others ceremonies,
to compare and combine, for to encounter each other in ones development.
It serves as a symbol for bridging gaps. All of us have already drunken
many cups of tea and many cups of tea still wait for to be drunken. The
original ideas about the new, the different (symbolized by the drawings
on the still unfilled tea bags) fade, once the teabag in the hot water
(the filled teabags swimming in boiled water) reveals it`s colours and
it`s aromas to the participants. Then new perspectives, insights, connections
and/or chances do emerge for the artistic tea drinkers.
Technique
Mobilé, free floating. Empty teabags, coal, red
chalk and used, dried and emptied teabags, finish, wooden sticks, chord.
